ELIANA A groan escapes my lips when the alarm's annoying siren sound cuts through the air. I reach for the clock across the side bed table and shut it down with a little too much force than necessary. Blowing a breath, I cast away the blankets, reluctantly get off the bed, grab a clean towel then head straight to the bathroom to freshen up. I close my eyes as the warm water rains down on me like an embrace, and allows my mind to wander for a moment.
