Chapter 5 - He's A Monster!

The young man was none other than Aiden Stein, Jade Smith's soon-to-be ex-husband while the stationed armed bodyguards were Jackson Foleys’ bodyguards who had been tasked to protect the event hall and stop any intruder from entering the hall.

After his memories got unsealed, Aiden had hurriedly came to inform his beautiful wife, Miss Jade Smith that he was now well and was capable of ending all her nightmares by saving both her and her entire family from shame and damnation. However, Jade was already in a middle of getting wedded to Jackson Foleys in the luxuriously decorated event hall of Feel Good Hotel, Vietnam, when Aiden arrived at the place.

Aiden saw Jade inside the hall from the outside and wanted to go in and inform her that he has recovered from his mental sickness but Jackson's fully-armed and stationed bodyguards refused to allow him entrance into the hall.

The fully armed and stationed bodyguards also took out their weapons to resist him immediately but it was already too late for them.

Aiden's martial art movement was very fast and bizarre such that none of those bodyguards could even see a single step of him except feeling the devastating ripple effects of those steps on their bodies.

The bodyguards tried to resist and counterattack him but they were no match for Aiden Stein whose martial arts skills and true energy cultivation base were unrivaled.

A very potent, bizarre and concentrated energy emanated from Aiden's body and gathered on his palm. Then, he attacked them with palm struck, leaving them helplessly in pains and agonies.

“Argh!”

“Ouch!”

“He is a monster!”

“Who are you and what do you want from us?!”

The fully armed and stationed bodyguards were helpless when faced against Aiden.

Aiden was very powerful and extremely domineering. They were unable to withstand a single move and blow from him.

Just a single kick and blow from Aiden rendered them helpless, pitiable and groaning in pains while there bodies lay lifelessly on the floor like a cold logs of wood.

After dealing with the stationed armed bodyguards, Aiden walked past them and advanced his way into the event hall of Feel Good Hotel where the wedding ceremony was ongoing. Soon, he reached the main hall and his presence attracted the attention of everyone present at the wedding event.

“Is this not the crazy son-in-law of the Smith family? What is he doing hear?”

One of the wedding onlooker asked her friend after Aiden appeared inside the hall.

“Crazy son-in-law?! That's not possible. I learned that the Smith family had ditched him out of their family which is even why the marriage between Mr Jackson Foleys and their granddaughter, Miss Jade Smith came about.” replied the friend.

“Really? Are you sure about this?”

“Yes. Jade was his wife but her family forced her to divorce him so that she could marry Mr Foleys.”

“Then, why is he here?”

“He could possibly be here to witness his ex-wife marrying Jackson Foleys.”

While the two friends discussed about Aiden's sudden appearance at the wedding, Jade's younger sister, Miss Lily Smith, caught sight of Aiden and then hurriedly went to block him. Then she chastised him and said, “Crazy Aiden, who led you into this place? Why are you here or have you come to disgrace our family? Haven't you been told by Grandma that you're no longer part of the Smith family?!”

However, Aiden ignored her scolding words and only proceeded to meet Jade who was still waiting to exchange her wedding ring with Jackson. The officiating minister had already informed them to get ready to exchange their wedding ring in public witness of their vows to become legally married to each other.

Lily’s chastisement on Aiden also drew the attention of others including Jade.

Jackson saw Aiden and his face twitched and contorted into frown immediately.

Seeing Aiden inside the wedding hall, and noticing Jackson’s sudden frown made Jade to become afraid. She was afraid that Jackson may begin to harass and t*****e Aiden again. Thus, she called out Aiden’s name and asked, “Aiden, why are you here? Please, go back to wherever you came from before you get hurt because I'm incapable of saving you right now…!”

Although Jade raised the pitch of her voice as if she wanted to chastised Aiden, her voice was still laced with tender love and care for him.

However, Aiden quickly interrupted her and said, “Don't worry yourself concerning my safety, Jade, for no one is capable of harming me again.”

Jade was stunned at Aiden's response.

‘What does he mean by no one is capable of harming him? Can't he see that Jackson is very furious at the sight of his presence?’ Jade murmured in her mind and then asked him, “Aiden, I still insist that you should go back now for your safety.”

“I have told you not to worry about my safety or don't you want to see me. You can tell me if you don't want to see me again and I will go away immediately. I promise you that I will never come near you again. However, if you want me to stay, I will and be rest assured that I will not cause you troubles again but I protect you.”

“Mhm. Not really.” Jade murmured and then said, “I want to see you alive and safe, Aiden. That's why I wants you to go back because I don't want to lose you. I'm sorry that I'm incapable of protecting you or keeping you by my side as my husband. I am really sorry for not honoring my late grandfather's wish who asked me to marry you and protect you. I am really sorry that I'm helpless and handicapped to keep that promise. Please, go back home and be safe, okay!”

Aiden replied her and said, “Jade, I came here to inform you that I have recovered from my sickness and to thank you for protecting and saving me all these years. Please, be rest assured that I will not let you suffer for my sake again. I am also here to protect and save you from all your adversaries. Trust me, anyone who dared tries to look for your trouble will die in my hand!”
