It was Angelo who first recovered from the shock. He stepped up to Matthew, grabbed him by the arm, and sat him on the nearest couch.
“What really happened, Matthew? Tell me when you last saw Louie,” Angelo said as he quickly sat opposite a haggard-looking Matthew.
“Well, Mr. Cruz and I went to her shop yesterday. Mr. Cruz was the PI we hired to investigate Isabella,” Matthew replied.
