I was walking to my room when Liav came up from nowhere and blocked my way. My heart skipped a beat because I knew what he was going to say before he said it and I had no viable excuse to come up with.
“Why have you been ignoring us?” he asked. His left eyebrow was arched and his right hand kept on rolling his phone. He did not look upset or someone who was about to curse me to the moon and back for what I had been doing. “Did I do something? Did Faiths say something to you? What is it? I want to know why you just decided to start ignoring us.”
I swallowed and tried to formulate a response but I had nothing. My mind was blank and my breathing had increased to the point that I was almost about to hyperventilate.
