"Neva, Nevs, baby," Alex's voice rang all the way from the other side of the hallway. He was striding towards me like a man on a mission. What mission, I had no idea.
I stopped at my locker and grabbed my planner and timetable as I waited for him to reach me. "What do you want Alex?" I said as he was close enough.
"Tsk, tsk, tsk, Summers, I thought you of all people would be happiest to see me," There was mocking in his words but I knew he was playing. It had been long since he acted carefree like this. Leaning against my locker, he crossed his arms across his chest and stared me down. "But your lack of manners is not why I'm here." His eyes moved from my eyes all the way down to my feet and then back up.
"What is it Alex?" I asked suddenly feeling like there was more that he wanted
