Chance and Alex were waiting by my door when I arrived. Alex looked like he was about to pass out while Chance was moving back and forth while muttering something under his breath.
I furrowed my eyebrow in question as I pulled out my keys and jiggled them loudly to announce my presence. Chance stopped for a moment and looked at me before he continued pacing again while Alex attempted for a smile. “What is going on here?” I continued go jiggle my keys around my index finger as I waited for a response.
“Can we talk in private?” Chance threw me a pleading look and stopped pacing.
