We were in a small coffee shop in town as I sat there staring at Aydan and wondering why I had let him drag me into his car to here when I had so much work to do. I had to lie to Liav in order not to be sued for missing out on my work. “Why did you bring me here?” my nostrils flared as I stared at Aydan who still seemed on edge about something.
