Through the dark halls of Antabelle Abbey I sneak cautiously.
Holding my breath to alleviate unnecessary noise. My bare feet cold on the stone floor as I make my way to the main gate.
I stop for a second as a scream rings through the corridors of the school and then continue forward. My pace grows quicker as the screams intensify.
Soon they will be silent no more than a memory. They will just disappear just like their owner will disappear too, deep into the darkness of the school. If I reach the Stonewall before the silence, I can be home and free. Home with Mama and Papa again.
Home with my silence where no cries are heard. I see the wall in sight. No one guards the iron door. No Abbesses walking about at this time of night. They lay sleeping in their marriage bed with the lord. I take a deep breath and dash to the salvation of the iron gate. Running on the cold stone floor, so cold it burns. My heartbet so loud.
I lunge for the door, but a force pulls me back. I try to struggle against the force as I’m turned around to meet blue eyes. “Nan what are you doing.” Georgiana “The Walls Georgie! We have to get out. The Walls are dead! Death sleeps ! I gripped her arms. My chest tightening.
“Nan you need to be quiet. Mother Superior will hear you!” I forced my self away from Georgie. She doesn't understand "Nan Lets go back to bed quick."
"Georgie we need to go!" It was to late my voice traveled through the corridors. I heard the all to familiar heavy footsteps.
I ran to freedom.
Then my world went black.
