Chapter Four The Saga
“Hello?” answered Bella absentmindedly.
“Hey pretty lady,” Samson greeted a little too enthusiastically.
“Hello Sweetness.”
“When did you get back?” he asked knowingly before thinking better of it, “or are you back yet?”
“I just got in two days ago,” she answered easily all the while she thought: So you know I’m back? Cute.
“How was your trip?”
“Successful,” she boasted. “I went to St. Louis, Atlanta, and Memphis, came back here for three days, and then I went up to Vegas and now I’m home again.”
“Well it sounds like you have been doing a lot and having fun doing it.”
“Yes I sure have. So, tell me Samson, what have you been up to?”
“Just chillin’ with the kids and my girl, you know that there is not much to do here in Phoenix.”
