The Kingdom of Asool had entered an age unlike any before it.
Years had passed since the miraculous birth of Princess Aroosa. The four realms flourished beneath the blessings of Voltura, and peace stretched across every river, mountain, forest, and sky.
The City of Oosla, built around the Tree of Infinity, had become the heart of the world. Merchants traveled freely between the realms. Festivals filled every season. Children knew nothing of war.
Yet the oldest sages often reminded the people of one truth.
“Peace is never eternal.”
The Awakening of Voltura
On the morning of the Festival of Guardians, the impossible happened.
Without warning, Voltura awakened.
Its silver leaves shimmered with golden light.
The four Infinite Plants bloomed together.
Ruka.
Riblus.
Wisri.
Sobla.
The entire kingdom stopped.
Birds circled above the heavens.
The rivers stood still.
The winds ceased.
Even the forests bowed toward the ancient tree.
King Haj and Queen Asilia immediately approached the Heart of Voltura.
Princess Aroosa quietly held her mother’s hand.
She smiled.
“The Tree is happy,” she whispered.
Queen Asilia gently looked toward her daughter.
“You can hear its feelings again?”
Aroosa nodded.
“It says…
its guardians are ready.”
At that moment, Voltura’s roots burst with brilliant light.
Four pillars of magic erupted toward the heavens.
From within each pillar…
a suit of armor slowly began to grow.
Not forged by fire.
Not carved by craftsmen.
But grown from the Infinite Plants themselves.
Living armor.
Living crowns.
Living swords.
The first gifts of Voltura.
The Guardian of Water
The sapphire lotus, Ruka, slowly unfolded.
From its petals emerged shimmering armor made from crystal-blue scales resembling flowing water.
A crown shaped like ocean waves floated above it.
Beside it appeared a translucent sword that flowed like a river.
King Haj smiled.
“Prince Ashkeel.”
A young man stepped forward.
His deep blue eyes reflected calm seas.
Unlike many rulers, Ashkeel never hurried.
Every step he took was measured.
Every decision carefully considered.
The people of Rukan loved him not because he was the strongest…
but because he always placed peace before pride.
Voltura spoke.
“Prince Ashkeel of Ruka…
Guardian of Water…
Accept the Tide Sovereign.”
The armor wrapped around his body like living water.
The sapphire crown settled upon his head.
His sword formed within his hand.
Aqualis.
A blade capable of becoming liquid and solid at his command.
The oceans answered.
Far beyond Oosla, every sea rose into towering waves before peacefully returning to rest.
The people cheered.
King Haj looked proudly upon the young ruler.
Ashkeel possessed the greatest gift among the four.
He could see fragments of the future.
Not certainties…
only possibilities.
His visions had saved countless lives.
Yet no one knew the terrible price.
Every vision stole a precious memory.
Each glimpse of tomorrow slowly erased pieces of yesterday.
He remembered futures…
while forgetting moments he wished he could keep forever.
Even so…
he never complained.
The Guardian of Fire
The crimson blossom, Riblus, burst into brilliant flames.
Fire spiraled into the heavens before forming magnificent armor forged from molten crimson crystal.
A blazing crown floated above it.
A great flaming sword appeared.
King Haj called,
“Prince Brosla.”
The fiery prince walked forward without hesitation.
His crimson hair danced like flames.
His confidence inspired every soldier who followed him.
When monsters threatened villages…
Brosla was always first to arrive.
When enemies marched toward Asool…
he stood at the front.
No ruler inspired warriors more than him.
Voltura declared,
“Prince Brosla of Riblusa…
Guardian of Flame…
Accept the Infernal Phoenix.”
The armor embraced him.
Its flames never burned him.
The Ember Crown rested upon his head.
His sword ignited.
Solaris.
The legendary blade whose fire could melt mountains.
The skies erupted with fiery phoenixes.
Cheers echoed across Oosla.
King Haj turned toward the gathered generals.
“If war ever comes…”
He smiled.
“I trust Brosla with my kingdom.”
The Fire Prince bowed.
But hidden beneath his fearless heart…
lay a dangerous weakness.
His flames answered his emotions.
The greater his anger…
the stronger his fire became.
If hatred ever consumed him…
his own power might destroy everything he loved.
The Guardian of Air
The silver orchid, Wisri, danced without wind.
Light gathered into elegant silver armor as light as feathers.
A radiant crown floated gracefully.
A thin silver sword appeared.
King Haj smiled warmly.
“Prince Halook.”
Unlike the others…
Halook moved almost silently.
His silver hair flowed like drifting clouds.
He rarely spoke.
Yet every word carried wisdom.
His strategies had ended conflicts before battles even began.
The people admired him.
The royal family trusted him completely.
Queen Asilia often sought his counsel.
Princess Aroosa considered him her favorite older brother.
Many nobles quietly whispered…
Perhaps Halook would someday inherit the High Throne itself.
Voltura proclaimed,
“Prince Halook of Wisria…
Guardian of the Endless Sky…
Accept the Celestial Tempest.”
The armor floated effortlessly onto him.
The Sky Crown shimmered.
His sword…
Tempest Whisper…
vanished into the wind.
Invisible.
Faster than sound.
Lightning danced across the heavens.
Storms circled peacefully around Voltura.
Yet behind Halook’s calm expression…
lived his greatest weakness.
He trusted no one completely.
Not even himself.
The fear of betrayal chained his heart.
And the wind favored only those who embraced freedom.
The Guardian of Nature
The emerald vine, Sobla, stretched toward the heavens.
Branches intertwined into magnificent emerald armor.
Leaves formed a living crown.
Roots twisted together into a beautiful green blade.
King Haj spoke proudly.
“Prince Hesoom.”
The young ruler approached barefoot.
Birds landed upon his shoulders.
Butterflies circled around him.
Even wild animals followed him without fear.
No kingdom flourished more beautifully than Soblan.
Its forests grew stronger each year.
Its people never hungered.
Its cities were models of wisdom and harmony.
Whenever disputes arose between the four realms…
Hesoom often solved them with quiet understanding.
Many elders believed that if wisdom alone determined succession…
Hesoom would become the next High King.
Voltura declared,
“Prince Hesoom of Soblan…
Guardian of Life…
Accept the Verdant Guardian.”
The living armor embraced him.
His Crown of Roots blossomed.
His sword…
Verdantis…
breathed with life itself.
Across every forest of Asool…
flowers bloomed simultaneously.
Yet Hesoom carried a secret burden.
He refused to take life.
Even his enemies.
He believed every creature deserved another chance.
One day…
that mercy might become his greatest weakness.
The Four Infinite Guardians
Standing beneath Voltura, the four rulers raised their legendary swords.
Water.
Fire.
Air.
Nature.
Four pillars of light merged above the Tree of Infinity.
The sky itself trembled.
Voltura spoke one final time.
“Guard not only your realms…
Guard each other.”
The words echoed throughout Asool.
King Haj looked upon the four guardians with pride.
Queen Asilia smiled peacefully.
Princess Aroosa quietly closed her eyes.
For just a brief moment…
she heard Voltura whisper something else.
A name.
A forgotten name.
“…Secroom…”
Before she could speak…
the voice disappeared.
Far away, hidden within the Sacred Forest, a young boy unknowingly looked toward the glowing sky.
The mark upon his chest pulsed once.
Deep beneath the roots of Voltura…
something ancient opened its eyes.
And for the first time in thousands of years…
the darkness smiled.
