The 25 years old doctor, 165cm in height, with properly toned, athletic body, that were covered with loose hoodie and sweatpants was standing Infront of the wash basin and looking at the reflection of a pale, tired face, with blackened puffy eyes, showing the lack of sleep, yet somehow all that sin still unable to cover the beauty of the young doctor face….

She cupped the water hit her hands and splashes her face trying to rid the tiredness on her face

Sighing, feeling her body was hurting everywhere after the long double shift she has….

The government might had said that the pandemic was over; they even lifted up the lockdown permanently….

Yet everyday waves of patients storm the hospital she worked in, some were in bad conditions that she or the other doctor were unable to help and save them….

Think again Sandra, it will drain you… Many has fall… She remembers her father reminded her of the consequences she has to face when she tells her parents that she will volunteer for the covid task force….

What will come to us if anything happened to you… Said her mother…. Who will take care of me….?

At that time, Sandra just thinks of how selfish her parents were, the fact that many of the medical team were fallen shows that she was more needed than before…

And now, she can understand her parents’ worriedness….

There were times that she almost gave up, times that she feels her body was about to crumble, or fall into pieces….

But to see the desperation at the faces of families that brought their love ones, who were truly in pain makes her heart remembered the oath and vow she was taken…. Her promise that she will help those in needs, and somehow, she feels that she regained her power back and forget her tiredness….

The blaring alarm, makes the young doctor splashes her face one more time, dabbing her face before wearing hazmat suit over her blue scrubs, wearing her medical mask that leaves marks on her beautiful face, and then with a hasty walk, she went to the Emergency Room….
