Code blue….! ER….! Code blue…!

The young man fell silent….

Behind a curtain that covers his father’s bed, he can see all medical personnel involved, was giving their all…

And he even saw the young doctor, working really hard to find the opening at his father trachea to push the tube inside….

He feels like he was empty inside, as he remembered that he gave the doctor, his permission…

And what he afraid off, happened….

His father collapsed and his heart stopped….

The medics, led by the young doctor, gave their best, their everything…

The patient son saw how the young doctor climb onto the bed and perform CPR just to try and jump start his father’s heart as the EKG monitor shows sikes that gives him a bit of hope of his father survival, just to have it flattened like the line at the monitor, which at the end of all efforts, sounds monotone, that tells him all hope is gone….

With tired and sadness in her face, Sandra, the young doctor approaches the couple, the family of the patient, carrying the result of the EKG in her hand…

“I am sorry… We have tried our best….” Said Sandra lifting her weak hand, showing the couple, the flatline result of the EKG….

There was not a single doctor who was happy upon delivering bad news, so does Sandra who tries so hard to suppress her feelings or emotions, while the son of the patient pours out his emotions…

“You are worthless! My father could still alive….! Goddamned you! I’m going to sue you….!” Shout the son, who actually should take the responsibility as the party who gave the permission, but now was furious with the passing of his father….

Sandra takes a step back when she saw the man was about to hit her…

Lucky for her, before his fist ouches her, it was caught by male nurses, before in the end some security enters and escorted the grieving, angry family outside the Emergency Room...

Yet Sandra couldn’t worry for long, since she has to turn too another bed, just when another code blue alarm blaring at the suddenly hectic ER….

And the chaos not ended with that…

Even though she wasn’t the one handling yet another assed patient, she still gets the mud, as a group of angry people, rushed inside the ER…

“Kya!” she shouts when she was shoved around by the men, who the pulls her by her hazmat suit, that quickly rips and torn open, revealing her light blue t-shirt she was wearing….

“MY BROTHER WAS NOT COVID, DON”T GIVE US THAT COVID CRAP!” a man shout, yanking the hair of the young doctor and slapped her face hard before the security team once again rushed in, and secure the young doctor, who was in shock and frightened, and take her into safety, as the rest tries to protect the rest of the staff, while the men grabbed the deceased body of their family and take it out the hospital, leaving damages to windows, and tossed and turned over chairs and tables at the waiting section….
