5. Some trouble

When we came to the trainings hall all other students were already there. Exactly two seconds after came professor Blackwood and the class had begun.

Professor Blackwood looked scary with the scars on his face which was so rare to see on a vampire. Vampires had the same healing abilities as the werewolves. So it was really interesting that he still had those scars. We could only guess what could have caused that.

He was not just the only vampire with scars but also he was one of the oldest vampire. Everyone was scared just to mention his name because he was a dreadful warrior of the Great war. Actually he was not just a rare soldier but a great general of the famous Shadow Legion. Now he was professor on our school. I was always asking why he ended up teaching here but whatever his reason was, he never forgot to show his hatred to us.

He preferred only vampires but only the strongest and obedient ones. He hated the fact that Az and Thiel were friends with us, because for him me and El were just low creatures not worth to live and thanks to us they had though times in his class. He hated especially me because I was descendant of the king Vallerion, the first werewolf king so he always let me knew that I was worthless.

“I want to see teams of four, now!” he demanded and came closer to us. He looked amused and I knew that he had something for us.

“You four are again together? Maybe you should be in pair with someone else for the next practice your highnesses.” he told to Az and Thiel.

His sudden interest smelled fishy and before they could said something, Eli started:

“Maybe it’s better that we stay together only then we can figure out how strong we are.”

I saw that he was expecting this answer and his eyes showed that he had something prepared for us.

“As always you are too rude Miss Donnoven! Well if I am not mistaken I haven't asked you! This is your first warning, if I must warn you again you will be punished!” he said to El with frosty look.

We said nothing more because all of us knew that if we have said something then it would be just worse. He was still waiting that we say something and when we were silent he said:

“Well if you like to do it together I have no other choice just to accept that!” he said devilishly.

In that second I knew that this all was his plan and we just did exactly what he wanted.

I prepared myself for something big but some incredible smell hit me and my wolf got crazy. He wanted immediately to find the source of it and I almost lost my control over him.

“Just calm down Duromor! I have a class now! I can’t go anywhere because of Blackwood and you know how cruel he can be. As soon as the class is over I will do what you want but now please be obedient and stay calm.” I told thru our mind link to my wolf hoping that he would understand how bad it could be if we would shift.

I totally understood why my wolf got crazy over the smell because it smelled really heavenly. It was like a honey with peaches in the flower garden. I smelled it closer and closer and thanks to that smell I was loosing my mind and if it have had come closer I would have known that I would have soon lost my control over my wolf.

“Today we will fight...” said professor Blackwood but he stopped in the halfway because all of us were sensing that someone was behind the door.

“It’s a human!” growled professor Blackwood.

All of us were starring and waiting who would have the guts to enter this class so late. Then two things happened on the same time. We saw something hilarious. There was a human woman trying to sneak into the training hall full of vampires, werewolves, demons and other creatures on her tip toes. It was quite unbelievable.

Suddenly I felt that my wolf was too excited and he said:”Our mate!”

“No, no, no ,no! This can not be our mate!

Look at her she is a silly human!” I said to him but he didn’t listen to me.

He was totally overwhelmed and he was not listening to me because he said:

“Look at her. She is our mate and she is perfect!”

What the hell? This couldn't be true! I was totally screwed. I knew that in that moment my wolf was not listening to me at all, because the mate bond was just too strong.

He wanted to run to her and I wanted to stop him, but suddenly she looked at me and I forgot everything.

She was as my wolf said- perfect and freaking beautiful. I thought that it couldn’t be that someone existed who was more beautiful than Eli but now I knew it could. She was the one. She had long straight dark hair with dark eyes and I was thinking if they were dark blue or black. Her skin was like milk chocolate and looked super smooth so my other thought was if she tasted as well as milk chocolate.

She wasn’t small but still smaller than me which was cute. She had small t-shirt with perfect breast and tinny shorts. Thanks to those shorts I could see her long legs and I almost lost my mind. I never saw such a long legs. They were just amazing! Then I figured out that she was soaked. I almost took one step forward when I saw that professor Blackwood was going to her. He stopped right in front of her so I couldn’t see her anymore and my wolf got angry.

I needed to go out immediately because he could take over me anytime and if something like that had happened in front of Blackwood I would be death for sure.

Then she unexpectedly said to professor Blackwood:

“How dare you!?”

Everyone in the trainings hall was surprised including me and Blackwood itself.

I never saw anyone to be rude to him and now she came late and was rude. In this moment I thought that she was crazy because no human in his right mind would ever offend a vampire.

I saw that Blackwood was angry and I never thought that I would see him so furious. He was so mad that his fangs came out and he was ready to kill.

“Do something! Or he will kill her for sure!” demanded my wolf and I felt that he was prepared to fight to protect our mate.

I was ready to interfere when she said:

“Oh s...t”

So it was just a mistake!

“Gabriel let me do something! She is our mate. I need to protect her. If something would happen to her I .." said Duromor again to me.

“I know, I know but we need to be careful or our friends could be in dangerous too.” I said to him back.

“Like I care! The only important person is our mate so do something or I will do it instead of you!”

I wanted to tell him something when I heard Blackwood said:

“I dare to send you to principal office immediately miss Midnight, because I am your teacher and you are mere human who were allowed to attend this great academy and still, on your first day you were late and you dare to be insolent to your teacher.”

Everyone excepted of my mate looked at Blackwood surprised. We thought that he would attack her or kill her instead of being attacked, she has been sent to the dean’s office!

This was just too easy punishment for what she did to someone like Blackwood.

Suddenly he turned to us, totally calmed as nothing happened at all and he said to El:

“Miss Donnoven could you please show our bold human where she can find dean's office, please? And tell him please that Miss Midnight stays one week after school starting today, because she obviously don’t know where her place is”

I couldn’t believe what I already saw and heard. This was the first time when we saw him say something almost polite to El.

I thought that I would never be so surprised in my life but then he suddenly stopped and looked behind his shoulder at my mate and ironically said: “Oh and one more thing: welcome to the Moon’s Academy miss Midnight!”

In this moment I forgot to close my mouth.

What exactly was going on? Who was she that Blackwood stayed so calmed? Are they somehow related?

I had to figure out some answers and till then I had to stay away from her.

But first and already the hardest thing was to try to persuade my wolf that staying away from our mate would be in this situation the best solution for everyone.
