9.The royals

I closed the door and stoped for a second. Suddenly I remembered that I should tell him what happened in the morning in Trainings hall. But actualy that was my problem and I should have figured out myself how this could have been solved.

First I really had to take a rest for a while because I felt like whole world was spinning out.

Shit! I forgot to ask where should I find my dormitory. I was thinking who should I ask when the magnificent scent bumped into my nostrils again. I closed my eyes for a while to enjoyed it. I had the feeling that I was standing somewhere on the fresh cutted grass and the sun strays were warming my skin. I literally felt that the grass was growing. In that moment I could taste how could it be when you were free, safe and without any worries.

It was magical. I never heard before that some scent could give you so many feelings. It was just too perfect! I hurrily opened my eyes in an effort to find this source again.

And then I saw them again standing not so far away from me. Unbelievable how perfect they were. Eli with her royal friends were standing on the stairs on the other sides of the floor. They were passionately arguing but unfortunately I couldn’t hear the topic.

I saw clearly Eli shaking her head with disagreement. I sincerely hoped that they were not talking about me. As soon as I stepped forwards they stopped arguing and for a second Eli looked worriedly at me. It was just a second. I wasn’t sure if I saw right because when I looked once again on her, she was warmly smiling at me.

Then she waved with her hand to show me that I should come closer.

I was considering for a short time if it was a good idea, because I still had the Minotaurs words in my head to stay aware. Suddenly I realized that my body was moving itself directly to them. When I came closer I heard someone's growling which frightened me for a second and the hair of the back of my neck were standing up.

I automatically stepped back but I couldn’t saw anything dangerous. So maybe it was just in my head. I looked once again and when I haven’t found anything I took my courage and walked straight to El and her friends.

The closer I was the stronger got this amazing scent. I was quit sure that it had to be from one of them. I was really currious which one of them was actually behind the smell.

When I was almost five steps from them I heard someone promptly said:

“I totally forgot that I have an appointment with Miss Downhill. I will see you later, guys!” and he ran away.

“Gabriel! Wait a second!” said Eli, but he was already gone.

I was quite impressed to see someone running so fast. On the other side I was disappointed because I was not able to see him.

“Unbelievable that he didn’t wait. I’ll let him pay for it!” said Eli to others and then she turned to me and said:

“Clo! I see that you are already done. I was waiting for you. May I introduce you to my other friends? As you can see one of them is already gone and I am going kill him for this feistiness. I am truly sorry!”

I saw that she was really disappointed and I wanted to reassure her that it didn’t matter but she was continually saying

“Hopefully I can introduce you little bit later. Maybe we should forget about him for now. We can pretend that he doesn’t exist for now and l can introduce you the others.”

She was obviously disappointed but she tried really hard not to be.

I wanted to help her to feel better so I came closer and I started to introduce myself:

“Hi I am Clotho but friends call me Clo.” I smiled at the girl standing near Eli. When I came step closer and I looked at her, I already knew that she was not the one who I was looking for. She smelled nice but it wasn’t that charming scent.

She looked amazing. She had long wavy blond hair and deep azure blue eyes. She was taller than Eli with perfect body. She was little bit pale but her skin was shinny. Again I thought that it wasn’t fair that one creature could be so gorgeous.

“Amythiel! “she said to me with curtness totally ignoring my stretched hand. It surprised me for a moment so I slowly took down my hand as nothing happened. I wasn’t sure what more could have been done. She was totally unfriendly but still one of the El's best friends so I just ignored her and I turned the way where was the other boy standing.

He was the perfect copy of his sister just with small difference. Instead of coldness and bitterness, he was looking at me like puppy on his master which was for me a little bit awkward.

“And you...?” I didn’t have time to finish it when he squeezed me thightly in his arms. It let me speechless.

“I am Azrael but for you just Az! You know that you smell like heaven? I have the feeling that we will be realy good friends.” he said playfully to my hair like an old friend.

I was looking at El but she looked surprised more than me.

For a second I wasn’t sure if those two are sane. Amythiel was bitterly cold and Azrael was totally opposite - just too joyful. Instead of her sister he was extremely familiar to me. It was really weird.

What the hell was going on with him? How could a vampire be so friendly?

I saw that no one expected Az behavior so we were all looking at Az with hope that he would explain it. Instead of explanation he was pretending that everything was just fine and totally normal.

When the situation started to be awkward, El started to talk:

“Tie could you please stop behave like a b...ch? I know being a vampire is extremely difficult! You doesn’t know how to be kind at all but Clo doesn't know you. She could feel insulted by your behavior so I know that it could be too much for you but please be a little bit nicer to her.” said Eli bitterly to Amythiel.

“Whatever” said Amythiel with rolling eyes.

In this moment I said to myself that I should know them better to figure out on who they really were and not just judging them.

Suddenly Az stopped hugging me and for a minute I lost the balance. I almost felt down but Eli was faster and she caught me. Thanks to her I was still on my feet and I haven’t embarrassed myself lying somewhere on the floor. She caught me and I was really thankful to her.

“Thanks.” I said to El with all gratitude.

“Ach it was nothing.” she said gently to me.

As soon as she spoke I figured out that the heavenly scent was gone. In this moment I forgot everything about my strange royals friends. The reason why I couldn’t smell it was that the source wasn’t there anymore. There was only one person who left. The source was Gabriel, the future king of werewolves. That scent disappeared with him so it had to be Gabriel!

When I figured how close I was for a second with him, my heart started to beat faster. I decided to find him. I needed to be sure that he was the one who smelled so gorgeous.
