A few weeks later, Sofia had her invitations printed and was ready to humiliate James as her final revenge. She reached out to him, demanding a meeting. James, who happened to be free at the time, agreed to see her.
"Take this! You’re invited," she snapped, her tone sharp and arrogant.
James glanced at the invitation and offered a cynical smirk. "Wow. You’re actually going through with marrying that coward?"
Sofia wasn't about to let his comments ruin her moment. "Stop insulting Max!" she hissed. "You’re just jealous because my future husband is the son of a Vice Director at a prestigious hospital, while you’re nothing but a pathetic fraud!"
