"Jacob, this is Sharriff Dickerson. Reed just called, and Camelia took her own life. It seems she didn't want to go back to jail."
"That's horrible. I think she would have been better serving her time and getting out. What a sad ending to a life. I will tell Candy. I'm so sorry to hear this news."
"Jacob, who's on the phone?" Candy asked.
"It was Sharriff Dickerson. He called to tell us that Camelia had taken her own life. I can't believe it. "
"What happened. I know she was hit by Reed here. But it wasn't life threatening, or at least we didn't think so."
"Dickerson said Reed will stop by and tell us what happened. He was going to call Maddie next."
Helping Candy feed the little ones and get them back to sleep, Jacob just couldn't believe how it ended.
