Chapter 22 22I looked at her, studying her features. Her dark hair was slightly damp, probably from the shower, cascading down her back like a river. Her deep brown eyes stared at me, her brows slightly furrowed as she eyed me worriedly. She had changed into a pair of black jeans and a simple white shirt. “Okay,” I nodded at her. “I’ll stop worrying about this. I’m pretty sure whatever will happen, will happen for good.” She grinned at me and went back to her food. “By the way, why were you drenched last night?
