ONE DAY TILL MY BIRTHDAY!!!

It's about noon my dad just got home and mentioned something about a new pack. Since we moved around often we never belonged to a pack. We have always been strays. He said they was located near Lake Oswego. I run to the bathroom then throw on my shoes and we are out the door and on the road.

The car ride was silent due to the tension of what's about to come. Silent except for the old people music my parents listen to. Don't get me wrong I like old music just not 70's and 80's disco vibes. When we were about five minutes out the hair on the back of my neck started to tingle. I knew we were getting close.

As we drove all I saw was cliffs, rocks and trees. It was relaxing until I saw the wolves running through the woods with us. They were the Okawana pack. Decended from the Okawana indians. Then my heart flew out of my chest as I saw the black and white wolf from my dreams. But when I blinked it was gone...

When I stopped focusing on it I discovered that we had parked. We were infront of a giant cabin. This thing probably had twelve rooms in it. Then an older man came out followed by 4 others. Three guys and one girl. The pack, I thought to myself. As we approached I noticed they all had green eyes with dark brown hair. The alpha, my dad and mom stepped into the house. Which left me alone with 4 new people or should I say wolves.

"So whats your name?" Asks the taller one. "Casey", I respond. "Where are you from?" Asks the girls and the buffest of the three guys nodded in agreement of the question. "All over, here, there and nowhere." I say. "Whats your name's since you know mine it's only fair." I found out the taller one is Gavin. The shorter one is Chris. And the buff one is Trevor. The girl is liliana but goes by 'Lily'. They are all 19 and in college or have jobs. They are all pure bloods. Gavin and lily are siblings and the other 2 are counsins. By the time introductions were done my parents were coming out. "Time to leave", he said as he walked right past me.

As we drove home I could tell something was off. So me being nosey I asked, "what happened in there? We left pretty quickly." They stayed silent for a couple minutes then my mom finally spoke up. "Me and your father were denied from the pack. We no longer bare our hides to nature according to their alpha...I mean who was that guy anyway. He only looks in his 20s." Mom heaved at the end.

"Wait the old dude wasnt the alpha, and why arent we allowed to be taken in? Thats not right." I said in aggravation. This time it was my dad who spoke up, "He said that me and your mother cannot be accepted. He said he would accept you if you offer to pledge loyalty." I screamed in frustration when I heard that. Then there was a loud screech, and a bang. Then everything went dark.
