-Miss Detective West! -Miss Detective West! Are you there?! Open up! You're needed urgently!
Detective Constable Smith is knocking on Detective West's door like a madman. He keeps shouting and knocking on the door.
-Hello! -Is anyone there?
Athemyst has just been asleep in bed. After last night's intoxicating night, Miss West couldn't even move. Screams and knocking from behind the door were driving her crazy. She only wished she had more whisky with her and wanted to continue sleeping, but the constable prevented her from doing so. Nervous and hungover, Athemyst tried to get out of bed, which came with great difficulty. In the meantime, she could still hear the cry from behind the door.
-I am! Just a moment! I have to get dressed! Give me a moment!
Shouted Athemyst angrily. Her head was pounding and all she could think about was that the i***t should stop knocking on the door and shouting like a madman. Athemyst could barely raise her left arm. She could not even move, but she knew that the constable would not let go, so she forced herself to make an effort. She sat on the bed, barely able to comprehend the world. Her gaze searched for a bottle of whisky and a cigarette, but in her current state, it was a challenge. An almost empty bottle of whisky caught her eye. Athemyst reached for it and drank the remainder, and set the bottle outside the window.
-Hello! Detective! Is everything all right? Please speak to me! It's urgent!
-I told you I was getting dressed, I'll be with you in a minute.
West got dressed, lit a cigarette and opened the door. A frightened Constable Smith stood in the doorway.
-Good morning, detective, sorry I'm not in the room, but it's an emergency and you need to be at the station right away.
-What happened?
-Six women's bodies have been found in the River Clyde, including some teenagers. People are terrified. Please come to the police station immediately.
-Good. -I'll be right down. Smith you may go now, I need to get changed.
- I suggest a quick bath.
-Smith get down! -Smith!
Athemyst slammed the door behind Smith. She sat down again on the bed and began to dress, and in the meantime searched for the last drops of whisky from the bottles. Mrs Dedective was a young woman, but very clever and intelligent. She had solved many cases that were not easy. She wore her knee-length boots in black. detective is usually dressed in black. Black trousers, boots and jacket. The shirt was white and the jacket sleeves rolled up to her elbows. She always carried with her a ring with a chain wrapped about her wrist. She never parted with her ring and her knives. She is an independent woman and was not afraid of anything, she could take care of herself and defend herself. She did not allow herself to be pushed around or ruled. When the lady detective got dressed she headed towards the police station, wondering where her whisky was and what kind of psychopath could have murdered innocent women.
