Together or next to each other?

The next few weeks passed uneventfully almost boring. Atlas tried to give me the space he thought I needed but sometimes he gave me way too much space. I was sleeping in the guest room and he ordered for a few of his pack members to redecorate the room as I wanted. He tried to make my life comfortable but when we were alone he barely spoke to me and when we were apart because of his duties I wandered in his territory. I couldn't avoid hearing the gossips and whispers behind my back about being a monster and I started to feel incredibly lonely. I thought that if I gave a chance to this relationship our bond will help him to know what I need, but it seemed that in Atlas's dictionary or freedom was equal with neglect.
