He could hear the rain falling on the roof.He wished he could see the rain falls and how wet the ground was.He lay on his bed, hugging his pillow to himself as he listen to the rain.He draw circles on his bed as he continue his wishes in his mind.

He heard the door opened then closed.With the clicking of shoes on the floor he knew who came in.He felt the mattress dip.She ran her hand through his hair.He smiled and inhaled her perfume.

"Hey,honey"she said sweetly.

"Hey,mom"he replied sweetly too.

She chuckled.She dropped he bag on the bedside table.She helped him sit up on the bed.

"How was your study today?"she asked

"Twas good.Miss Pammy was kinda gentle to me today."he said

"That's good to hear.Have you had your lunch yet?"

"Yes Mom.Is Derek back from Scotland?"

She pulled his cheeks playfully."Few hours to go honey.I see you really miss your brother"

" Okay,mom.You know he's the only friend I have."

"I know right."

"So mom can I go for a walk this evening?"

"Sweetheart,you know...."

"I promise I won't walk in the rain.I will just sit at my usual spot at the bus stop"

"Pink promised"

He nodded and and smiled.

"You can go but make sure one of the guard go with you."

"Mom,am eight for Pete's sake"

"I know right."

She said and walked out of the room chuckling.He also chuckled.He stood up from the bed and count his step to his wardrobe.He took his hoodie and walked out using his inner sight and counting method.
