The team disappeared before emergency responders arrived. Their escape was silent, precise — the work of people who had nothing left to fear.

The dominoes fell fast.
Sofia Callen was detained by international agents after an anonymous tip. Several top government officials resigned. Protesters filled the streets across cities. Eliana's files had caused a global political quake.
But in the quiet warehouse, the team sat with bruised bodies and heavier hearts.
Damian pressed an ice pack to Eliana's shoulder.
"You okay?" he asked.
"No," she said. "But I will be."
They stared at each other. So much unsaid. So much that had changed.
"You saved my life," she whispered.
"And you gave me a reason to live again," he replied.
Their lips met — not rushed, not frantic — but with the weight of everything they'd lost and everything they might still find.
Tunji coughed. "Not to ruin the mood, but we just made history. Should we... celebrate?"
Didi chuckled, tears in her eyes. "Let's just live through the night first."
