I nodded and looked at Hazel with gentle eyes,encouraging her to go on and tell me whatever was troubling her. I wanted Hazel to know that she can tell me anything and I would be willing to listen to her.
"I'm sorry that I was not sincere with you. I went behind your back.I betrayed you, Luciano."She said and fixed her eyes on the floor, feeling ashamed.
I slipped my hand under her chin and raised her head slowly and she looked at me,mixed emotions swirling in her eyes.
"You can always tell me anything and I will always listen to you."I assured her.
I wasn't that surprised by her words because I had a slight idea of whatever she was talking about.
