Chapter One: PrivateSierra runs her fingers through her hair and is immediately reminded of the haircut she had been pressured into getting a few days ago. Amanda, her manager, insists that short hair is 'all the rage' right now and she needs to get in on that before she's even more outdated. Apparently, being eighteen-years-old and gorgeous is no longer enough to cut it. She needs to be special, be unique in some way. She needs to stand out from the crowd and Amanda's idea of standing out is for her to get a short haircut that frames her face and makes her face look a little bit swollen.
