Chapter 16 - The Source of Life

In the following days, Chen Yue truly experienced what heaven and hell meant.

The torrent flows on, smaller and smaller, but not losing any momentum, and the branches become fewer and fewer, finally leaving only one main stem, which still rolls on without stopping.

The surrounding landscape and its tributaries finally faded away, leaving only blackness behind.

In the middle of the vast starry sky, a dazzling green ball of light was as hot as the sun, its surface burning with green flames, emitting not heat, but astonishing life force.

In front of the green mass of light, the torrent became a minuscule thin line, flowing into the mass of light as Chen Yue watched.

Everything around him suddenly fragmented, the vast starry sky disappeared from perception, making people suspect that they were in a dream, but Chen Yue knew that it was all real, he, himself, had finally broken through.

The five senses returned to his body, and Chen Yue found that he had returned to the back of the water puppet.

Vinnia's voice came out like heavenly music.

"Congratulations, you have touched the source of life."
