Chapter 2

Second person's POV 

A new sun has rose from the grounds , the Anitures has woke up peacefully from their grounds. And by the second , there's already someone who sneak out from their household.....

Zinnex's POV 

I successfully jumped to the highest and the smallest cliff after trying it tones of suns. I stood up from my ground carefully as I took a view of the morning Savanna. "L-Lady Zinnex , we should be heading back now. Sir will be furious if he sees you out here." I looked at my maid , Scarlet Reeves , a hybrid of a vulture and an armadillo , standing afar with my scarf around her arms. I rolled my eyes , saying "Please , Scarlet , I'm a leopard too , alright? I can handle fall damage. Not to mention , the view up here was stunning." I looked at the sun that crawled up from the mountains , roared with the energy I have store in my body. While hearing the echo of my thunderous roar , I have heard a c***k sound as well. I looked down and found my small cliff below my feet had started to c***k.

"Lady Zinnex!" As Scarlet squawked , the cliff below has cracked into pieces and I have found myself helpless since I missed my golden opportunity to jump away. Before my back bone hits the ground , I can feel something smoothing my brown hair , some creature carrying me in bridal style. I opened my blue eyes and found the prince of Lionards , "Oh hey Clyde Windsor. Can you let me go?" I asked then growling as I felt his tail snaking around my waist. "Oh right."He said while crawled down from walls of the cliff. 

You heard me , crawl.

Clyde Windsor , a hybrid of a snake and a spider , allowing him to climbed on tall mountains easily and trees too. He's the prince of my nation , and the only specific hybrid in Lionards. He was found by the King of Lionards at the border of Ellies and by the mercy of the king , he was adopted. 

"Zinny! Are you alright?!" Father yelled with some royal guards behind him , and started to examine all my leopard marks on the arm , neck and left leg. "Father , I'm fine. All thanks to Prince Clyde." 'Oh! Your highness! Sorry for my daughter's chaotic actions." Father bowed after Clyde , apologize for the 'chaos' I caused. 

"Anything to protect my future Queen , Sir Langford." "I'm just your mate , not your Queen yet." I said while pushed Clyde's face away from mine. Yes . As you can see , Clyde was my mate , he had been courting me for at least 1050 sunrises. Everyone in the Lionards called us the "Power Couple" , for the fact we have trained the most professional knights in Lionards. "Aww , come on , kitty~ Human got your tongue?" "Nope. I just found someone's bugging me with his tail. I really wanna get his cat-titude settle for the day."

"Since when my girl know dad jokes? Learn those for me?" I froze after heard what Clyde hissed in my ear. "N-No , I-I don't know anything about those cheesy lines of yours." "You better tell my truth. Or else I'll make you purr~" Clyde hissed in my ear. My face had gone crimson red and I covered my mouth , avoiding any purr sound came out.

"Prince Clyde , King Windsor had required for your existence." "Of course , " Clyde answered the guards then turned to me , "See you after thiss~ Kitty~" He hissed in my ear while his snake like tongue touched my lion ears and left me with a caress on my cheek. 

"Father , I can explain. It's not Scarlet's fault , I sneak out from-" "Do you know how dangerous was the world out there?! I should have strengthened the security in our home." "Father , I'm fine. Besides , Clyde was there in time." "But , he couldn't always be there for you!" He yelled , making my ears flinched and flopped down. "I'm...sorry... Zinny darling , I can't loss you after what happened to your mother..." He said while held me tightly by the arms.

Father told me that mother was slayed by those bastard humans. She successfully gave birth to me before the deadly virus in her body has killed her. Father was desperate when he saw the love of his life was died under the hands of those bastards. 

"I understand Father. I wouldn't run away anymore , I promise and I'll try." I said while looking at Father who's ready to set off to another business trip. "Keep an eye for me , Scarlet." He said as he left. Soon later , a young Lionard girl ran to me. "Lady Zinnex , my ball toy....it ran to the Ellies....Can you get it for mwe?" I smoothed her gold hair and nodded as response. "Lady Zi-" "I will get back as soon as possible , Scarlet. I won't be distracted by any other things." She nodded as response as I dismissed her back home and had to the gates to the Ellies.

"Mrs. Jumbo. What a good day for some crop planting?" I greeted with the best and mother-like Mrs. Jumbo. She has grey colour skin and a trunk hanging upon her face. A maroon red plovs headband was around her head and her big golden earrings. 

"Oh ho! If it isn't Zinnex? What elephant breeze dragged you here?" She asked while walking to the fences. "Have you seen a bone like toy? One of the kids in Lionards accidentally dropped it here." I asked while a face of worries appeared on her face. 

"The toy has threw out to the walls outside of Ellies by the guards. Better be careful , who knows if you met those rebels." Mrs. Jumbo's words were echoed in my head as my eyes looked at the desert that was painted black by the night sky. I took a deep breath as I walked out from the gates of the Ellies. I walked alone under the galaxy sky until I saw something from afar.

'The toy bone , how did it got so faraway?' I thought while walked to the toy and picked it up from the sand covered ground. As I reached towards it , another hand had also reached towards it and our hands had contact with each others. I looked up and saw some hazel eyes and...ShArP tEeTh?!?! I immediately jumped back and growled deeply , enter my hunter mode.

Like what Mrs. Jumbo predicted , I had met a rebel. He had black hair with small white and yellow patches that was not tied , just like how Father described. 

"Back off you. That's a toy from my nation. Back off before you tried a Lionard's claw upon your beautiful face." "The toy was abandoned here nowhere in the desert. We can compete for it." He growled deeply while walking in circle. While he did so , I quickly snatched the toy as I ran back to the Ellies. 

He growled as he started chasing me. You really can't compared the speed of a rebel with a Lionard. He soon catch up to me and pinned on the ground. "Let me go! You have no idea who are you messing with!" "Really? Then , should I make you to let yo-" Before he could finish , he was knocked back to the ground.

"Get your dirty paws away from her!" I turned my neck and found Clyde who hissed furiously to the rebel. the rebel couldn't do anything but run away. "Zinnex! What are you outside the borders?!" "Lady Zinnex!" I turned and found the cub earlier. "I-I'm sorry for you risking your life to get m-" "It's fine , here. Head home little one." Clyde looked at me furiously , "Are you serious?! You rather risk your life , just to get the toy?!" 

"Clyde , I'm fine. I know how should I defend myself from those creatures. Don't you worry about me too much , hmm?" I comforted him while leaned my forehead on his shoulder. He embraced me tightly while picked me up in bridal style and took me back into Lionards.

"Glad those things didn't bite you. I can't bear to see you in scars." He said after setting me in bed. I smiled and squish his cheeks. "Hey , don't say like I'm dead or what sort ever. I still want to spend my nine lives with you." He smiled while caressed me on the lips passionately.  He soon let go , panting for air. "Get some rest , hmm?"

"Love you , Zinnex Langford..."

Baron Langford's POV 

While I walking under the starry night sky , some deep growls had got me cornered. I had just realized that I have entered their territory. 

"Oh~ HehHaha! Ooo , supper already? I forgotten my fork and knives." One of the rebels said as he giggled. "He had the same smell as a prey I almost got for dinner." One of them uttered- wait- Same smell? That means-

"What did you to her?!" "Oh , you're his mate or what sort ever?Huh? Well we did touched her , so?" "How dare you touch her!" I yelled but got scarred by the back and front. "Let's just rob him alright.""No , maybe his daughter would be better than any treasure , right old hag?" Before answer his question , a deep growl and a black figure with with light brown eyes happened , making the other rebels run away from him. 

"Well , Well....If it isn't Baron Langford from Lionards?" he said while jumped down from the rock , walking to me. "Who's the girl they mentioned? Answer me!" He growled while grabbed me by the throat , causing me to choke for a second. 

"S-She's my daughter.... Zinnex Langford." He soon let me go , allowing me to breath while he mumbled Zinny's name. "Zinnex Langford.... Say Baron... , " He asked while walked to me , "....Was she available yet?...." I looked at him with a face of shock.

"What are you tr-" Before I can ask him , I was knocked out and fell into darkness......
