Chapter 6

"Hi Son," I turn to see Zach walking towards me, "hi Son," I said grinning at the silly name, "what got you all cheery and happy today?" I asked, "oh no reason," he said looking at Sebastian who is patiently waiting for me, "congrats on being happy, Seb I'll be late later since I'm gonna audition for the school musical right after my last class."

Sebastian nods his head smiling at me before wiggling his eyebrows at Zach, I look at them confused before grabbing my books at Sebastian, "I'll see you later at lunch," I said as I tried to walk away but Sebastian grabs my wrist.

I raise an eyebrow at him, "what's bothering you?" Sebastian asked, "nothing," I said, he raise an eyebrow at me and tighten his grip on my wrist, I let out a sigh knowing that he won't let this go.

"Luke came over last night, right after you left," I said, "Luke? Why did he come here?" He asked with a frown, "I'm not sure either, I didn't talk to him and just went inside the house. Anyway, I'll see you later at lunch, I still have History," I said, "oh I have History first period as well," Zach said.

"Great, walk me there," I said, before turning to Sebastian, "talk to you later during lunch," I said.

"So who's this Luke?" Zach asked as we arrive in class and he pulls me to sit at the back with him, "uhm no, I sit in the middle cause I can't see," I said standing up, he let's out a groan as he stands up and sit beside me in the middle, "so who's Luke?"

I look at him, "why are you so curious?" I asked, "I just want to get to know you more," he said resting his head on his hand as he looks at me, "then ask questions about me," I said crossing my arms as I lean back.

"Okay then, what's your favorite color?" He asked just as the teacher comes in the room, he let out a groan as he sits properly, I tap his shoulder and as he looks at me I gesture ay my jacket before opening my notebook.

Morning passed by quickly and surprisingly, I had all of my classes with Zach, "how come your in senior classes?" He asked as we head to the cafeteria, "advance class, I'm aiming for student valedictorian in my year," I said, "ohh," he said nodding his head as we fall in line.

"Isn't that tiring though?" He asked, "not really," I said as Sebastian came and he grab hold of my books, "thanks," I said to Sebastian before facing Zach again, "I don't have friend groups I need to keep updated everyday, on my free time I study but when I'm bored I go out of the house and do whatever. There was this one time in freshman year when I got so bored on a weekend that I walked around the town and saw this beautiful lake by the west side of town and gosh I stayed there for hours until it got dark and the sunset, my gosh the sunset, it was everything," I said, exaggerating my last word as I grab a tray for them and for me.

"West side lake, but isn't that private property?" Zach asked as we grab our food, me putting food on Sebastian's tray, "I didn't know at that time that it was private property, as I was heading out I saw two people doing it by a tree and that's how I met Luke," I said as we pay for our meals before finding an empty table.

"Ahh the mysterious Luke," Zach said, I wave my hand at him before turning to Sebastian, "so as I said earlier, Luke came over. And this morning, guess what, there was seven watermelons in front of the house," I said before turning to Zach, "watermelon is my favorite fruit," I said before turning back to Sebastian who is confused, "anyway, seven watermelons, does he think that is enough for me to forgive him?"

"What did you do with the seven watermelons?" Sebastian asked, "carried it inside and asked dad to cut some for me to eat for breakfast," I said pushing my hair back over my shoulder as Sebastian let's out a chuckle.

"I think it's working though," he said, "as if," I said just as a familiar face sat down beside Zach, "Bianca, what are you doing here?" Zach asked as he push her hand off his shoulder glancing at me as I watch this exchange while eating.

"Just wondering what your up to these days, you haven't been hanging out with us often," Bianca said before glancing at me, "Eloise, your appearance still haven't changed all these years," she said, "and your clothes have shrunk, have you been gaining weight?" I said, she glares at me.

"Now now Bianca no need to show how jealous you are," Sebastian said with a smirk, "as if," Bianca said before turning to Zach, "I have a party later tonight, make sure to come," she said before turning to us, "and for your information, your not invited as well as I have lost weight thank you very much."

She then gets up and leave, "ahh still so feisty," I said with a laugh before looking at Zach, "didn't think you were actually the party goer guy," I said pointing my fork at him.

"Oh he is, I heard he doesn't miss any party, always present," Sebastian said with a grin, "you don't like parties?" Zach asked me, "no, went on a party a couple of times and no thanks, I find it necessary. I'd prefer to stay in doors and watch some movie with dad."

"Huh," Zach said looking down on his plate, as if reflecting, "wait what was your initial thought of me?" He asked.

"Weirdo."
