Chapter 12

"Will you be staying over tonight?" I asked Sebastian as I went out of the school building, waiting by the front as instructed by Zach himself through text. "No," he said resting his head on my shoulder, "you look really weird right now but okay, just talk things out," I said patting his cheek just as Zach arrives. I grab the extra helmet from his hand and put it on, "I'll see you tomorrow, at least try to get some sleep tonight," I said as I got on the motorcycle, "Zach." Cringing slightly at the high pitched voice I turned to see Bianca, along with a few other people who I've seen Zach hang around with at school, "hey what's up?" Zach asked as I pull out my phone to see a text from my older sister. "Aren't you forgetting something?" One of the guys said, he had a nice industrial piercing on his right ear, "nice piercing," I said, he looks at me, "don't you also have a few piercings?" He asked, "yeah but I don't have an industrial, I plan to get one soon," I said, "goodluck, mine didn't heal until after six months," he said touching his piercing. "All depends on your body really," I said, "true," he said with a smile, "I'm Lewis," he said putting a hand out, "Eloise," I said as I shake his hand, "where do you get your ears pierced?" I asked. "From a friend, he has his own tattoo studio that also caters piercings," he said, "oh is it in town?" I asked, he nods his head, "yeah around ten minutes from here if your using a car," he said, "here let me give you my number, I can go with you there." He grabs my phone and puts his number in, "Seb let's go over this weekend," I said with a huge grin as I put him under the name Lewis, "sure, before work," Sebastian said as he looks at his phone, "need to head to work now, see you tomorrow," Sebastian said before leaving, I wave at him. "Oh right we were supposed to head over at Bianca's house," Zach said, "if you already have plans you can just drop me off at home, but we'll have to double the time on Thursday though," I said. "Sorry I can't," Zach said, I look at him to see him looking at his friends, "need to go for a tutor session with her, I'm not available on Tuesday and Thursday," he said. "What?" Bianca said while one of the other guys said, "that's fine." "I'll see you guys tomorrow," Zach said as he taps the side of me knee, I put my hands on top of his shoulder, "this guy is really bad at math, sorry for disturbing your hang out time with him," I said, "it's fine we were just gonna laze around anyway," Lewis said, "but I guess I'll be seeing you Saturday?" "Sounds good, Saturday afternoon," I said before turning to Zach, "wanna come with? We can have lunch at that diner you talked about last Friday," I said tapping his shoulder countless times, "no problem," he said as he holds my hand making me stop from tapping his shoulder, "see you guys." He drove off and I tighten my grip on his shoulder at the sudden speed, "Son your going too fast," I yelled, he slowed down a bit, "sorry," he said, I loosen my grip on his shoulder, "I thought I was gonna die there for a moment," I mumbled. It didn't take long for us to arrive at the grocery store. "What do you want to have for dinner?" I asked as we went in the store, "what are you planning to cook?" He asked, "shrimp carbonara," I said with a grin, "I'm down for it," he said. We went to different isles first to grab the dry ingredients for the pasta and a few things I need for this week before going to the dairy section, "do you not like milk?" Zach asked, "I do, I prefer heating milk up and add a spoon of sugar," I said, "but if it's chocolate milk your talking about I prefer it cold," I said as I grab a carton of chocolate milk. "How about sodas?" He said with a grin, I grimace, "please ever since that incident in the movie theater I haven't been drinking soda outside the house or in a can," I said, he laughs as I grab a litter of soda. Putting it in the cart I sit on the edge and instruct him to go to the frozen goods. "Should we overload on the shrimp?" I asked as I hold two packs of peeled shrimp, "I don't see why not," he said, I nod my head as I put two packs of shrimp on the cart before grabbing a few more cuts of meat and fish before we went to the cashier. "Buying groceries for your house?" The cashier asked, "yes," I said as I look at the price while Zach puts our things on the counter, "you two look like a lovely couple," she said with a smile. "Oh no, were not dating," I said shaking my head, "I tutor him in math and asked him to buy groceries with me before our tutor session." "Well young lady, not all guys will be happy to accompany a girl for groceries if they don't like her," she said, I glance at Zach who is busy putting stuff on the counter, "I doubt it, he already have an admirer," I said as I give her my card. "Hey I was gonna pay for that," Zach said grabbing my hand, "why will you pay for my groceries?" I asked as I grab a pack of gummies and ate it, he didn't say anything as he grabs a piece and puts it in his mouth. "Will you be able to drive off properly with this many bags?" I asked gesturing to the six bags were carrying, "we'll manage, besides, your house is only a couple minutes from here." Bonus Eloise put two plates full of shrimp carbonara in front of them before opening up the soda bottle and pouring some on their empty cups, "ahh I'm starving," Zach said sitting down on the table while Eloise sat across from him, "help yourself, you can bring some at home, I made a lot so that I can bring some to Sebastian tomorrow at school," she said. "Sure, I'm sure my mom will love this, we rarely have seafood at home since my dad is allergic," he said, "that's a bummer," she said before pointing a fork at him, "you really need to study more on math, how come you can have all A's in all of your subjects except for math?" "How did you know about that?" He said, "Sebastian told me," she said, "study math, do you really think it won't show up on your list of subjects in college?" "Okay, okay, enough about me, pick up your phone it's been buzzing since earlier," he said, Eloise turned around to see her phone buzzing on top of the kitchen table, she went and grab it to see a few missed calls from her older sister Estella.
