Chapter 13

"Dad," I called out, "in the garage," I walked in to see dad with a few of his friends, working on a few motorcycles, "hi," I said as I hug them all, "how have you been El?"

"Good, oh yeah, dad, I'm gonna get my ears pierced today, Zach has this friend Lewis who knows a guy that has a studio," I said looking at dad, "where?" He asked standing up, "here on my left ear, the long one, remember I always talk to you about it," I said showing him my ear, he looks for a while before nodding his head.

"Okay, who will you go with?" He asked, "Seb, Zach and Lewis," I said just as Sebastian pulls up in front, I wave at him before looking at dad, "where is this?" He asked, "the studio? Around twenty minutes from here I think? Lewis said that it's not that far from school."

He nods his head, "okay, tell Sebastian to drive safe, will you have dinner here?" He asked pulling out his wallet, "I'm not sure, I'll just call you," I said, he nods his head as he gave me some money, I waved bye at all of them before getting in Sebastian's car.

"Ready to go?" He asked, I nod my head just as my phone rings, "hey Son," I said as I answered the call, "hey, we're at the diner, what do you want to eat?" He asked, I put him on speaker as I lean towards Sebastian, "what's on the menu?" I asked.

"Hotdog, burger, panini," Zach said and continued on, "I'll have a cheese burger with a side of fries and strawberry milkshake," Sebastian said, "okay noted, what about you El?"

"Uh, I'll have the chili dog and panini sandwich, I'll just have some of Seb's fries, soda and do they serve desserts?" I asked, "yeah theres a banana sundae and some pie," Zach said, "ohh if they have apple pie I'll have that with vanilla ice cream but if they don't banana sundae is fine."

"Okay, we'll order now see you soon," Zach said, "okay bye," I said before ending the call. It didn't take long for us to arrive at the diner, "ohh, how come we have never been here?" I asked, "it's on the east side of town, we normally just go around on the west," Sebastian said as he opened the door for me.

Spotting Zach and Lewis on one of the booths, I sat beside Zach while Sebastian sat across from me, "you got here sooner than I expected," Zach said as I grab the standing menu at the other side of the table, "we already left home when you called," I said as I scan through the menu, "I ordered the apple pie with ice cream since they had some," Zach said.

I nod my head before flipping the menu, "there's a breakfast menu? Why didn't you say it earlier," I said hitting Zach on the shoulder, "considering were having lunch might as well have the regular menu."

"She doesn't eat breakfast on Saturdays," Sebastian said grabbing the menu from me, "you already ordered a hotdog, a panini and a pie," he said, "I forgot to eat dinner last night," I said as I grab the menu back, "I'll split with you if you get the pancakes," Zach said tapping my shoulder.

I look at him, "you get the bigger half, my God," he said, "ehh I'll just have the ones that was already ordered," I said putting the menu aside before turning to Sebastian, "your off today right? How about going to that seafood place that recently opened in town later tonight," I said.

"The food there is terrible," Lewis said, Zach looked at him confused, "I went there with my older brother and it was terrible, the people were nice and all but the food was just bleh," he said making a disgusted face.

"Why not just have a seafood boil at your house?" Sebastian said, "Uncle's friends are over right? It would be fun, plus they'll probably do most of the work."

"That's true," I said just as our food arrived, "I'll ask dad later, if he agrees come over," I said nudging at Zach, "yeah sure," he said as he picks up his burger, "come with us too Lewis," I said, "I can't, I'm babysitting my younger sister later tonight, 'rents are out of town," he said shaking his head.

"Bring her along," I said, "I'll ask dad to pull out the projector and we can watch Baby Driver," I said before turning to Lewis, "or Finding Nemo," I mumbled.

"Eat first," Sebastian said laughing a little.

Once we finished eating we walked out of the diner and I look at Zach, "you walked here?" I asked after not seeing his motorcycle, "I brought my mom's car, picked up Lewis," he said gesturing to the grey car parked beside Sebastian's truck.

"Ohh, then you guys drive in front of us and we'll just follow you."
