After what seemed like an eternity, we finally made it back to Crescent Moon and their very impressive new hospital. Beast and Tink worked together to keep Raven stable and firmly set upon Beast’s back as we raced through the woods, Raven periodically changing back and forth from her wolf to her human form. Watching her, I tried to not allow myself to be consumed with the thought of losing her. She looked so peaceful yet so vulnerable.
Nicholas stayed by my side, particularly my right side as my injury obviously caused him a great deal of worry. As we fiercely ran to rush Raven towards help, my wound began bleeding slightly once again, but I ignored it and the burning pain that coincided, as Raven was my priority.
