It was not yet dawn as I stood at the window looking out over the training field, every moment of my time with Madeline replaying in my mind, bringing a smile to my face and an all-encompassing warmth to my heart. Her victory felt like more of a victory for me truth be told. It appeared that I owed my Mother and her magic a deep debt of gratitude, which I would bestow before she regrettably left us again today.
While it was incredibly early, I didn’t want to waste any time in our preparations for the day, so I sent word out to my brothers. I expected they would not be happy with me as they were all more than likely enjoying having their mates in their beds, but hopefully they could forgive me for my wake up call knowing the importance
