The pink aura finally released Jace and I from its hold, a magic I had not conjured and one I definitely felt the repercussions from as I laid there unable to move. Jace was still suffering and my connection with him sent those sensations through me as well, although dull, they weakened me further.
He lay beside me on the ground with every emotion of devastation in his eyes that I had seen in visions that played out like a movie in my mind as we were encased in the aura. I was still stunned that my first experience with visions occurred through this connection that we shared.
