Fourteen Mordecai extended his hand to me and led me back into the study. Everyone stood as we entered. Lazlo looked anxiously at me. The King’s crew stood stoically along the side of the room. Mordecai crossed to Maeve. “Lady Maeve, it appears we are in need of drawing up a marriage contract between your son and this lovely young lady. I’ve spoken with both of them. According to her familial magic, they are to be married.
