She darted her head into Tulip’s body and shivered as her breathing became erratic, the other five woman almost doing the same thing. Tulip pulled her closer and glared at me as Alvin chuckled. “Calm down there boy, you almost gave me a heart attack.”
I nodded and tried to swallow my heart that had now made its way into my throat, feeling ashamed and scorned for something I didn’t even do. “I’m sorry for my outburst…” I paused and realized I didn’t even know my mates name. “I-it won’t happen again.” I sank back into my chair and watched as Tulip pat her and have her eventually calm down.
