Lucy’s POV
“Of course.” He smiled at me, taking my question as a yes. “Son, go and tell our guests to get ready for the ritual.” Leon left with the others in the room, leaving me and Shepard for a minute. “Just wait here and rest, then we’ll come and get you when it is time.”
He followed the others out of the room, pulling the doors closed behind him with a grin while watching me. “Be on your best behavior.”
The doors had a rattling click as a lock slid home, leaving me with the blue walls in this room looking like raindrops rolling down glass. I stayed in a pool on the floor, laying down on my ruined white dress with my arm out next to me. “I’m fuuuuucked… aren’t I?” I asked no one in particular, letting the feelings of the wolfsbane roll over me.
