My heart pounded in my chest as I continued to hide under the duvet, trying my hardest not to shiver too much from fear so I wouldn't draw more attention to myself and alert her to the fact that I was awake.
It was her again. The woman in white. The one who keeps showing up everywhere I go.
I blame Aldric for this. He's the one to blame for all of this, I swear. If only he had returned home immediately after finding Hector, none of this would be happening. I wouldn't be in this mess.
