"Yeah, you should probably take that off, Selene. It's plain creepy. I wouldn't do that if I were you," Allison said from beside me on the sofa. We were sitting in the living room, watching a movie, when she noticed the necklace around my neck—the one I got as a gift from the friendly ghost.
I've taken it off more than fifty times since last night, but then I find myself putting it back on after each time.
I don't know if it's because of what I saw in her eyes when she gave me the necklace, how much it clearly meant to her, or if it's just that evil spirit that must have vowed to get me killed early in life.
