CHAPTER FOUR

A few days passed and everything seemed quiet for Zandra. Zandra was at the restaurant helping cook and manage her own business when she received a call from the office. All agents are sent on a new mission. "Charles, I have an emergency. Manage the restaurant for me and call me if there is a problem, okay?" She said to Charles, who nodded and knew what to do. She smiled at Charles and patted his back before leaving. She quickly started the car. When she reached the dense forest, she changed her style and outfit and put on red lipstick. She easily got in and went straight to the meeting hall where the meeting was going to be held.

Lady Eve has a short introduction before the person with the black hood is shown on the screen, which is Dark Zeus. He only called once, but when that happened they knew it was important. Everyone sat down and bowed slightly to pay respect to him.

"Good day, agents. This new mission is very important because this is a big client. Your new target is the Gallegos." he started. "Martino Gallego is the head of the family, owns a lot of property and a large company that has a partnership in another country. He likes to gamble and most of his wealth comes from gambling. He was suspected of being the leader of a gambling organization."

Gallego rings a bell to Zandra. As far as she remembers, he was once a business partner of her dad. But she doesn't know if they are still business partners since the issue that he killed someone. This family is really rich and famous.

"He was guilty of killing Mayor Arnaldo Dela Cruz because of politics and business issues. He overthrew many people just to keep his wealth and power. A million pesos for this case? Who wants to bet? I am giving you all a chance to get this case." Dark Zeus said.

The amount of money that is placed on this mission excites everyone and everyone wants to do this mission. Zandra would have liked to take this mission because she would get a lot of money, but she prefers to focus on her family's investigation. She also does not want to think that the organization has anything to do with it.

"How about you, Agent Artemis?"

"I would love it too, Dark Zeus, but I'm thinking about giving others a chance, a chance that others want to get." I smirked.

Agent Blue scoffed. "What are you trying to say, Agent A? Whether you take the mission or not, we can still finish the mission. Don't be so arrogant that you think you can do it all."

Agent Artemis crossed her legs and hands, then she smirked. "Then, do your job well, don't just talk."

Agent Blue suddenly rushed to Agent Artemis with a blade in her hand. Agent A got away quickly but Agent Blue continued to attack. It was going to hit her very hard. Agent A defended with just her hand. Instead of stopping them, they just let them fight and watched. Agent Blue's attack continued until she slashed Agent A's shoulder, causing her clothes to tear and blood to come out. She moaned a little. She held the wound and breathed deeply. She knows that agent blue will kill her, so she wants it to end.

She prepared her hand to defend herself because she had no any weapons. Agent Blue quickly attacked, she grabbed her hand and elbowed her, so she fell down but got up quickly. In the next move it was Artemis who rushed a punch that Blue avoided. She was about to punch her, but she quickly kicked his leg, causing him to fall down. She quickly grabbed her neck. Blue was about to stab her, but she quickly grabbed it, so the blade was released. She tightly squeezed the body she was holding until she moaned. Artemis had been annoyed with her for a long time. When Agent Blue started moaning loudly, the guards stopped them.

They breathed deeply and looked at each other intently. "Are you two done? If you two are satisfied, we will proceed with assigning this mission. We will talk later in my office." Lady Eve said emphatically.

The mission was assigned to five agents, including Agent Artemis and Blue. Let them go first to see who can finish the mission first. After the meeting, Lady Eve called the two. They were told not to give in too much to emotions. "Don't ever forget the rules; one of them is being a traitor and recognizing the true identity of each of us. I'll give you a warning first. Remember to focus on our mission. You may go."

After being reprimanded, the two went out together. "It's not because Miss Eve told me to stop. I will prove to you that I am higher. That I can knock you down. Wait because you will kneel before me." She threatened.

Agent Artemis scoffed. "Let's see. I can't wait to see you fall because when that happens I will be the first to applaud you." after she said that, she immediately turned away.

She really doesn't want to compete because she is more focused on the mission and on the rules that it is forbidden to be a traitor and to recognize the agents. But she thinks that she is her enmity. She also couldn't avoid not cutting her because she was also short-tempered. When she got home, she quickly treated the wound. While Zandra was treating her wound, her mom called her.

"Ma, why did you get called? Did something happen?" she worriedly asked.

"Nothing, we're fine. Anyway, you have to go home tomorrow for an important occasion." her mom replied.

Her brow furrowed because she remembered that there was no birthday or anniversary tomorrow. She asked her mom what is the occasion tomorrow, but she didn't answer. "You remember that floral dress I bought you, that's what you'll wear tomorrow. Wait, I'll go there tomorrow to fix you." he mama said. Zandra just stared at what was happening. Even though she didn't understand, she just let her mom.

The next day, Zandra's mom arrived very early. They still had ingredients for the menudo they would cook. Zandra just woke up to see her mom busy in the kitchen. She approached her and said she needed a shower so they could cook. Zandra took a deep breath and followed her mother. She had breakfast for a while before starting to bake a choclate moist cake and then the menudo. After they finished cooking, they went up to the room to fix Zandra.

"Do I really need to wear them? What occasion is this?" Zandra couldn't stop but to complain.

"Don't complain. You must be nice and formal because your dad's business partner is there. It will be a formal dinner with our special guest." she said, smiling. She was more and more curious about who their visitors were.

After a long time of getting dressed and doing her make-up, it was also over. Zandra wore an off-shoulder long slim maxi dress in pink which she paired with white high heels. Her high and curly hair is just hanging loose with pearl hair clips on the side. She was also made to wear a minimalist silver necklace. Her mom wanted her to take off her eyeglasses, but Zandra didn't want to, so she let it go. overall, Zandra is very formal and very beautiful. Her face became more innocent.

"You're so beautiful, my dear. Let's go, we must welcome our visitor."

They left for her parents' house. Entering inside the house is very clean. It looks simple but elegant. The table is full of delicious food. Grace put the menudo cooked by Zandra on the table and the cake was in the fridge first. The helpers are busy arranging the food and tableware. A minute later, her father came and immediately greeted him.

"You're so beautiful, my daughter." her dad complimented her.

"Thanks, Dad. Anyway, who's our visitor again?" She asked because she'd been curious who was this special guest her mom always talked about. They must be very important guests to prepare extravagances like this.

"They are the Gallego, my business partner."

When Zandra heard that very familiar last name, she suddenly stiffened and seemed to process in her brain. Their important guest today is her new target in her new mission. Zandra doesn't know if she will be happy or not, if this is an advantage for her or not, because she only knows one thing; her family will be affected by this.
