I have never questioned Tracy's behaviour before, but it seems like she is refusing a simple confession for no good reason.
"All you have to do is disclose your little mistakes to him, swear that you regret doing them and he will gladly approve our marriage." I urge and she sighs with what sounds like annoyance.
"Why are you giving that man so much power over us? We love each other and we are ready to live together for the rest of our lives. Why let that man impose ridiculous rules on us when we can just have our wedding without him?" She asks, clearly fighting the idea of confessing her sins to the priest.
