EMMA'S POV Stephen looked modest and spoke like a gentleman. Nothing about him seemed indecent, or in this case . . . murderous. I didn't ask why he was in prison, I assumed it was for something he did by mistake or he got accused of falsely just like me. But Lilian claims that he actually did kill his father, I have doubts about it being all true of course. "If it's true he must have had a good reason for doing it. Stephen doesn't seem like the villainous type." I say, walking fast beside Lilian.
