Little Knowledge - Chapter 5

Stepping outside the door felt like a breath of fresh air, with nothing on my feet and only a sheet to cover myself i run as fast as I possibly can. Not stopping for anyone or anything. I do notice that everyone has their backs to me though, although i'm not sure why. Nobody is chasing me either which I thought was equally odd. I round a corner to find myself at a room which looks like a eating area and Holt to a stop when I see everyone looking wide eyed at me. I look down to notice I had lost my sheet in the process of running. I look up and they had all turned their backs to me again. My eyebrows crease with confusion as I heard someone walking up behind me to notice it was Josh. I could smell it, his sweet scent. I dont know why but it made me feel like butter. I quickly shake my head trying to get the thought out of my head before turning to run in another direction. "Freyah" He Yells. "Your running around in circles, you dont know where you are going" I decide to yell back "Anywhere is better than being locked in a bedroom constantly. Suddenly and Unnaturally he stands right in front of me staring at me. "I'm sorry, but you need to understand we just didn't want you to run, you said you would give us a month but here you are running" before lowering his voice and with a low grumble saying "Topping it off your completely naked"

I stand back noticing he was correct and wrap one arm around my breasts and another hiding me fairy from the people around. But with a giggle and bringing his arms from behind my back he pulls out a robe. "please stay" he says as I wrap the gown around myself. Not knowing why but against my better judgment I reply "Ok..ay".

When we finally made it back to my rooms door he opened it for me. I walk in expecting the men on the ground and the blood everywhere. But there wasn't, I swear it was cleaner than the first day I stayed in here. The walls were white again, there were no bodies on the ground and even the windows were cleaner. I gawk at Josh. "What on earth" I say with wide eyes. He just laughed and gestured for us to sit down. 

I had spent so much of my time here confused, I kept hearing this voice in my head and I swore as soon as I was out I would go see a therapist, even if I evened up in a home for people with mental issues. "I need to know whats going on here, and with me" I say towards josh. He sat up before saying anything and put one finger up before leaving the room. I sat there a little surprised to say the least who leaves without saying anything? "Rude" I say in a low voice before standing up myself. That's when I see the mirror that had shown me the horror of a white wolf, I dont know why I did what I did but I slowly walked towards the mirror closing my eyes before I got there not ready to open them. I take in a deep breath. "Oh just do it Freyah"  the voice in my head encouraged, I opened my eyes only to see myself, although I was skinny, my hair was horrible and I looked like I had been through war. "Freyah" Josh says as he enters the room startling me, Get dressed we are going to go to my dads office so we can sit down and all have a chat". 

I look at him before I say "I dont have any clothes that are not covered in uhhh... Blood" I said quietly. Josh turns away from me with a smile and walks towards a large door to the left of the room and opens it up. Walking behind him I walk into a room filled of clothing, shoes and everything else I would want or need. "Why?" I say to him "Trust me you will go through all of this fast, its just a matter of time, Ill leave you to get dressed, Ill wait for you outside your door." Josh Replies as he leaves the closet. I feel all the clothes, there was so much from evening gowns to sweets and everything in between. looking at the shoes I see the cutest pair of flats so I decide I will wear them with a pair of Black Jeans and a White plain shirt. Walking out of the room I walk up behind Josh who turns around and smiles at me before taking my hand and leading me down a long corridor to his fathers study. 

Once finally sitting down I couldn't hold it in much longer "What is going on?" I ask Assertively towards the Two men sitting in front of me while Josh was by my side.

"My Name to you is Alpha James, I'm the Pack Leader." He spits out. "Dad, go easy on her" Josh says when he sees my face go from professional to confused at the word Alpha. "Sorry of course, Have you ever wondered why you were faster or stronger than most people around you? and have you heard a voice in your head before Freyah" He says calmly towards me. With shock my eyes widen "Yes?, but what does that have to do with anything" I reply "Well actually everything actually, they are the gifts that a Shifter is granted strength from birth but from your first turn you will hear your wolf" James says to me with a calm about him. "I, What, Huh, NO its not possi... No" I try to get out a sentence but I cant. "Its true your a wolf, well i'm the wolf your part of me, i'm part of you.. Woop Woop"  My wolf Says "SHUT UP" I yell directing it at my wolf. Eyes raised but a glimmer of a smile came on their mouths when they realize I was talking to myself or should I say my wolf. 

"There is a lot to go over with you freyah but for now, you had your first shift last night and you must be very tired" Alpha James motions me out of the room. But before standing up, A realization came to me.. "Oh My God.. Did I Hurt..." Josh comes to my side wrapping his arms around my neck and I bury my face into his shoulder. "Shh, Its okay, nobody will hurt you I promise" Josh Replied sweetly in my ear before picking me up wedding style and walking me back to my room.
