Lone Wolf - Chapter 3

I wake up in my room alone. "Hazel" I said in a whisper, I didn't get a reply. I start to stress, walking around frantically. 'Where are you, my gosh I hope your okay' I say to myself walking towards the door expecting to be able to walk out but when i got there i wrapped my hand around the handle, push down and NOTHING, I was locked in. I start to remember hearing being locked in last night but I thought they would let me out. My eyes start to burn red and tears slowly went down my face. 'I need to get out of here, I need to find Hazel' I started repeating over and over again as i slid down against the door. I wrap my arms around my knees that were up against my chest now. 

Just as my head touched my arms i heard the door being unlocked. I stand up as fast as I possibly can and run towards the bed breaking off one of the wooden panels to use to protect myself and head towards the door. The door swung open and I saw Josh, Running toward him with the wooden panel in my hand above my head, I bring it down with all of the strength my body could produce. But with one hand he puts his hand up splitting the wood into many little pieces. "Tsk Tsk Tsk" He says to me with a hint of sarcasm in his voice, "Now if that hit me I dont think I could have convinced my father to let your younger sister go back to her father now could I?" he said with a devil like smile on his face. "I WANT TO SEE HAZEL NOW" I stated in a shaky yet strong voice that had taken me a few seconds to muster up. "Sure" He replied walking away. My eyes squint with confusion. "You coming or not?" Josh Said. Slowly I follow but my pace grew faster the further away we got to the room, Passing people as I went, They all looked at me with a sad look in their eye like they knew what was happening. "Where is she?" I say in a quiet voice trying to remain calm. "Through the doors just up ahead" he replied as I sprinted past him when I saw the door open and saw her. 

"Oh my god, Hazel are you okay, did they hurt you, did they lay one finger on you?" I said frantically at her. She just smiled.. "They found my dad" she said in a sweet voice. "He is coming to get me now" she carried on. My heart stopped I was happy for her dont get me wrong, it means she is out of here and that was good, however it meant even though we were found on the same door step, have the same tattoo and look similar. It meant, "Your not my biological sister" I said looking down at the ground. I was heart broken. I always thought she was. 

Josh interrupted my train of thought "Freyah" he said before asking me to follow him. I dont know why but I did. looking at Hazel it looked like she was safe, there were woman with her playing dolls, she looked happy so I turned and followed him. "What" I said sounding a little too angry. "I have something I need to talk to you about" he stated "Mhhm" I reply hardly listening to him. My heart was broken, I couldn't listen to him right now I was about to burst out into tears. 

"Look" He said putting a hand on my shoulder, "I was able to convince my father to let your little sister go as long as you remain here with us" I sharpen my eyes at him and reply "What do you mean stay here?" He carries on "Look there is a lot you dont understand about who you are and what you are, I want to help you. Once the month is up if you still dont want to stay" he said sounding like the words could be hurting him "you may go" he finished his sentence. 

I stood there for a minute just looking at josh, how could I keep hazel here with me for a month when they found her family. "Okay" I replied straightening my back. "There is one more thing" he said with a steady voice, apparently he was glad that I had agreed. "What, is me being here for a month against my will not enough for you people?" He smiled and a little chuckle escaped his lips. "More than enough" he replied to me. "I need you to reassure hazel tell her you will be okay, I am worried she will not leave here without you" Josh said looking at me with pleading eyes. I didn't know why now of all times he seemed so concerned, its not like he was before but if I could help Hazel in anyway possible I would do it. 

Walking towards the room where hazel was with the maids I opened the doors. Hazel ran up to me and wrapped her arms around my waist. "we are going home Frey, We finally get to go home" She said with such excitement. How can I tell her that I wont be going home with her? How can I explain that we are not going to see each other for awhile? but I started my lips started moving before I could stop them. "Hazel, I love you more than anything but you will have to go on without me" I say looking at the crease grow deeper between her eyebrows as she becomes confused with what I am saying "They found your father, my father is somewhere else. Nobody knows who my dad is" I carry on "But let me tell you something, Once I finish up here and I promise I will, I will come see you and you can show me your new house and your bedroom and meet all your family. I promise" I lied not knowing if it really could happen. For all I know I wont make it out of this hole alive. 

A servant (At least I think he was) came into the room and said "Hazel your father has sent a car for you" I look at her hugging her. I wrap my arms around her tightly. "Remember my promise" I say, She nods her head as she heads out of the room leaving me alone. 

Completely Alone.
