Rose looked up briefly. “Morning.” Her tone was polite. Too polite. Olivia noticed the difference immediately. She took a sip of water, trying to ignore the strange tension settling between them. “How did you sleep?” “Fine,” Rose replied shortly. Olivia nodded, uncertain what to say. Rose stood up, picking up her bag. “Elias and I will be going to see the bridal fashion designer today Olivia froze mid-sip. “Alright good luck” she said Rose glanced at her. “You didn't know?” Oliva chuckled “Why would I know?” “Because it seems you enjoy each other's company” Rose said observing Olivia reaction Olivia stiffen, she wasn't expecting that statement She laughed “He is my future brother in-law” the words left a bitter taste on hee tongue “We are trying to get to each other well Rose” she smiled, taking another sip of her coffee, her calm demeanor contrasting her fast heart beat Rose nodded once and headed toward the door. “We’ll be busy. See you later and I..I love you Olivia” The door closed behind her. Olivia stood there, staring at the empty doorway, a strange ache forming in her chest. Why am i feeling guilty? The air around her felt labored She felt she has betrayed her sister This isn't right I should stop this she told herself But her heart doesn't concur, her body doesn't concur. Elias entered the living room heading to meet Rose, when he saw Olivia at the kitchen counter He wanted to approach her but he remembered what happened when she was drunk How he held her waist, how free and happy he felt with her, the Happiness seems uncannily familiar. He wanted to approach her, but he remembered what they'd done when she was drunk. The happiness, the feeling of being free, it all felt uncannily familiar. He never felt this way with Rose, he knew he loved rose but spending time with his soon to be sister in law made him have tiny doubt. He was getting married in less than two months; he couldn't let trivial issues cost his wedding. It was better they stayed away from each other from now on. He took three steps back, turned, and headed into Rose's room. Olivia knew who entered the through the door His presence made her feel warmth She knew they had to stop this The closeness, the tension It had to end Soon she would be his sister in-law She knew despite the fact that they didn't discuss it The slience made the decision.
