Slightly smut.
I squeezed my eyes shut as I tapped my legs repeatedly. I fidgeted with my fingers and bit the inside of my cheeks. I was so nervous.
River was in front of me, looking at me softly.
"I don’t really know how to talk about this... I’m so scared," I murmured while looking down. I heard the shuffle noise as I felt the warmth that came into contact with me.
"Hush, I'm here... I'll always be here for you. So, don’t be scared," he whispered to me.
Tears started to build in my eyes as I heard those words. It gave me a warm feeling that I hadn't felt in seven years. The feelings I had built up inside me were showing like a weakness, but as the first tear dripped down, thousands more started to flow. It was like a waterfall.
