one year before..

As I turned the corner blue lights were flashing, police? fire engines?

"why are they outside my house?".. I said to my self.

I kept walking , the closer I got the more scared I felt, I walked faster and faster u til a police officer stopped me. "you can't go in there" she said.

"This is my house, what's going on?" I asked.

"little lady the police are investigating a murder, can I ask who you live with?".

" what do you mean a murder?.. my parents and my Brother live here..wh..who's been murdered?" I said as tears started to roll down my face.

"little lady I'm officer Samantha Evans, I think I need to speak to you in private away from everyone, come on , come with me ". she faintly smiled and putting her hand out for me to join and follow her.

My mind is ticking, I don't understand this.

I followed officer Evens as she guided me to a tent that was placed on my front garden she told me to sit, I noticed another person coming in but he had a suit on, must be someone important I thought.

"miss, I'm officer Jenkins can my colleague has told me that you live in this house is that right?" "Yes I'm coming home from school and noticed blue lights outside whats happening?"

" can I ask your name and who currently lives with you?"

" sorry my names Zaria, and my parents and my brother Niko live here, I need to know what's happening, please tell me I'm really scared? this officer told me that your investating a murder is that right?" I asked tears streaming down my face.

"Zaria.. is this okay if I call you Zaria? officer Evens is correct, we had a phone call reporting Gun shots and screaming, we responded quickly but were sorry to say we got here and found 2 people shot"

"TWO PEOPLE?" I screamed "WHO ARE THEY?"

"Zaria I'm sorry to inform to inform you, but we found your mum and dad shot and it was too late" the officer said with a dad face.
