"Go ahead," Zhan Yan said, handing over the ID card to his assistant.
"Okay, Zhan..." The words "CEO Zhan" were about to slip out when Zhan Yan's intimidating glare silenced the assistant.
The assistant quickly changed his address, "Sure, sir, please wait for a moment," and walked ahead, mopping his brow.
Seeing that the suspect had distanced himself, Wen Ruo lowered her voice and asked, "Is there something you need help with afterward? Do I follow you?"
Her voice was shallow, almost sneakily so, as if registering was a clandestine affair.

"Everything is arranged! Once we enter, taking photos and getting the certificate is a formality. However, if you regret it now, the door is there. You can leave right now."
His voice was cold, his expression serious.
This woman is the perfect daughter-in-law that her mother spoke of.

Staff: "???"
Getting no response, Zhan Yan frowned and opened the red booklet. The female column strikingly displayed the name "Wen Ruo."
Zhan Yan was stunned.
Even if he had no impression of the bride, he remembered that her name was supposed to be three characters long.
What the hell is "Wen Ruo"?
Just then, his mother's call came through, and upon picking up, Zhan Yan heard his mother's greeting, "Xiao Yan, have you and Xiao Guo gotten the certificate?"
Zhan Yan: "Just finished, we'll talk later."
