Summer's Pov I walked out of Gray's room and stood in the hallway for a second just breathing. I didn't know how to hold all of it. Gray had been carrying something that heavy the entire time, smiling through dinners and painting sessions and quiet conversations, and none of us had known. That was the part that got me the most. You can be standing right next to someone and have absolutely no idea what they're managing on the inside. I made myself a quiet promise right there in that hallway. Whatever he needed, whenever he needed it, I was going to show up. And maybe there was treatment, maybe there was something that could slow it down, something Richard's money could actually do some good for. I didn't know enough yet. I was going to find out.
