Crew's Pov
"I know you already agreed," I said, "but can you at least share your location with me the whole time? I need to know you're safe. I can't go to practice not knowing where you are or what's happening."
Summer looked at me and smiled.
I frowned. "Why are you smiling?"
"Because a few weeks ago you were literally my worst enemy," she said. "And now here we are. Planning things together. It's just funny."
"I was a jackass," I said.
"Definitely."
"No offense taken. I know what I was." I looked at her. "I'm sorry, Summer. I keep saying it because I mean it every time."
She shook her head. "It's fine. We're good now. I forgive you."
Something in my chest loosened when she said that. More than I expected it to.
"Thank you," I said. "Now send me your location before you go."
