Becky had lost track of how long she’d been running. She’d never been in this part of the city before, but she figured that if she went along with the heaviest traffic, she’d eventually end up at the Strip.
How did everything turn out this way? Xavier had come back for her. He’d come back to take her away from Donahue’s. Except that wasn’t what happened.
