Breathe. I’ve got to remember how to breathe, and then everything is going to be okay.
I can make this work out.
I always do.
I can do anything I set my mind to.
Including escape.
The problem is I don’t know where I am. This doesn’t look like the city anymore, but I really can’t tell. And I feel like I was asleep for days. So did Donahue bring me somewhere else, or am I still in Las Vegas?
If I’m nearby, I can find Xavier. I just need to get out.
But how?
He’s going to be looking for me. If he’s still alive, he’s going to be looking for me.
Come on. Think.
What would Xavier want me to do?
He’d want me to be safe. And to be brave. And to remember how much he loves me.
If I can manage that, I might be able to make it.
